Applies concepts and techniques begun in BIOT 1510/1570 to the characterization of proteins. Techniques include protein isolation, polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis, isoectric focusing, 2-D gel analysis, ELISAs, recombinant protein purification and column chromatography.
