PHYS 1010 - Introduction to Physics

3 credit hour(s)

Prerequisite: RDG 0950  or appropriate placement scores . Recommended: MATH 0940 * + PHYS 1092 .**

Surveys basic concepts and phenomena of physics.

* It is recommended that students take MATH 0940  prior to taking PHYS 1010 as a working knowledge of basic algebra is useful.
** It is recommended that students take PHYS 1092  concurrently with the lecture. The lab experience serves to enhance the student’s understanding of the concepts discussed in the lecture.
