Presents the first of a two-course series in elementary algebra. Includes signed numbers, solving linear equations, problem solving, formulas and graphing. This course is typically offered in three different formats. Collaborative is a traditional/ lecture style class that incorporates lecture, individual and group work and individual and group projects. In the self-paced format, students work at their own pace to move through the material. Self-paced courses are open entry/ open exit. A distance learning option is also available. Note(s)
