CEMS 2030 - Community Paramedic Role in Public Health and Primary Care
3credit hour(s)Pre- or corequisite:CEMS 2050. CP 2030 will expand upon previous coursework specifically in the area of Public Health and Primary Care. Public Health goals will include understanding the federal, state and local public health models and the role of a Community Paramedic in the public health system. Primary care will introduce the Community Paramedic to the roles of a Primary Care provider. In addition the Primary Care section will allow the Community Paramedic to begin understanding a primary care approach to management of common diseases.
