FS 1820 - Hazardous Materials Awareness and Operations
3credit hour(s)Prerequisite:IRW 0980 + MATH 0970 or appropriate placement score. This course will fulfill the prerequisite classes for the Core Firefighter I. This course is designed to train the student to Awareness and Operations Level as outlined in NFPA 472 Standard for Competence of Responders to hazardous materials/Weapons of Mass destruction Incidents and OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120. Course includes IFSAC Certification.
