Provides a simulated or clinical learning experience in a health care facility. Emphasis is on coding, qualitative analysis, quality assurance, utilization management and supervisory activites to further develop medical records in the areas of health information management. This is an unpaid work experience requiring a minimum of 90 hours. Students work with the instructor on specific topics related to the program. (0 theory hours/90 lab hours)
