(Prerequisites: BIOT 1010  + department approval) (Pre- or corequisite: BIO 1510/1592  + CHEM 2210 ) (Corequisite: BIOT 1211  + BIOT 1005 )

Presents theory of laboratory safety, documentation and GLP (good laboratory practices). Techniques include laboratory measurement and solutions, bacterial cloning, recombinant DNA and tissue culture.
