DETC 1110 - Introduction to Diesel Technology

(Prerequisite: ENG 0750  + RDG 0750  + MATH 0930  or appropriate placement scores )

Introduces theory of operation and basic service procedures for heavy equipment/heavy duty truck powertrain and chassis systems. Includes general industry orientation, shop/ vehicle safety, tool care and use and repair information retrieval. (30 theory hours/75 lab hours)
